Cama Model – The Future of Computer-Assisted Mass Appraisal
Cama Model, a cloud-based software service, brings the future of computerized mass appraisal (CAMA), to local government property tax assessment offices. The solution leverages advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to provide valuation models that offer more precise, consistent and equitable ad-valorem property taxation.
Traditionally, a CAMA system has been a large-scale project requiring onsite hardware and expert programming support. Cloud technology allows CAMA systems to be deployed quickly, and at a low cost, while still delivering the performance needed to meet new state regulations.
The Harris Govern CAMA system offers assessors and appraisers a fully integrated, relational data modeling, standard value approach (SVA), based on IAAO & USPAP industry standards. With our powerful reporting capability, it provides the tools you need to deliver reliable, accurate, and defensible results.
With a full suite of mobile applications, the Harris Govern CAMA system enables users to efficiently collect data in the field. Users can capture photos and property attributes using smartphone or tablet devices. Real-time synchronization to the CAMA system makes this information instantly available for office staff to analyze and process.
XSoft CAMA(tm) is designed as a windows-based application with many tools within the graphical user interface to simplify data entry and navigation. The software supports multiple data entry and viewing formats, batch processes, reporting and statistical analysis. It is also architected in such a way that it can be tailored to the specific requirements of a particular state, for example INcama(tm), by adding/removing forms, processes, tables, values, cost ladders and market models.
